Favorite Calendars for 2009

2009 is just around the corner, have you found the perfect calendar for your office or home? If you are putting this task off like I have, below are a few of my favorite calendar designs that I've gathered.

Choosing a calendar has always been a huge ordeal for me. Especially when you are going to stare at it every day for a full year. And other people who come into your workspace will look at it as well. It has to be the perfect blend of functionality and individuality. I think the calendars below fit the bill nicely.

The End (Happy New Years!)

The End (Right to Left), originally uploaded by Dill Pixels.

Flickr user Dill Pixels has created a beautiful photo set of classic end-title cards. It is the perfect metaphorical way to bid goodbye to 2008 as well as a great look at how they used to properly end films. Those were the days when movies had perfectly wrapped up happy endings. Now if only 2008 could end the same way.

My inspiration wall at work

This is my life in a cubicle, originally uploaded by RSchley.

Inspiration DC

I've been an avid blog reader for quite some time now.  Always finding tidbits of creativity and inspiration all over the web.  With the new year approaching I decided to finally start one myself.  I'm always trying to share different kinds of inspiration with my friends, it is about time I have a place of my own to put them all.

A little bit about me.  I have no idea who will even be reading this blog but just in case you don't know me let me offer a little insight.  I am a graphic designer in my early 20s who has lived in Washington, DC since last fall.  I absolutely love being creative and finding inspiration in the life that surrounds me here.  I try to push myself to explore the city often and take advantage of all it has to offer.

Despite the looks of this blog so far, I do have plans for it.  Hopefully over the next few weeks I will have a better looking interface than this generic one.  But that all takes time.  So for now welcome to the future home of my bits and pieces of daily inspiration.  I hope you come back and visit often.
